Melanie Jannicelli 

Founder/President & Creative Director

Kimberly Rose Events is named after Melanie’s mom, Kim, and her sister, Carolyn Rose, who are two of the most important people in her life. Kimberly Rose embodies the idea that we spend special events with the people we care about, and our goal is to capture those moments and feelings with design, originality, and a little magic. We can’t wait to make your event the most fantastic experience you have imagined, and are here to work with you to design something that fits your personality and your vision. We look forward to helping you create new memories!

Melanie is a vibrant girly-girl who loves champagne, apple pie, and anything vanilla. Making people smile is her specialty, along with throwing fabulous parties!

It has always been her dream to make other people’s visions come to life through event planning, and Kimberly Rose Events is her brainchild. Mel’s creativity took flight as a young girl when she created her own imaginary wedding planning business, complete with planning guides full of cakes, flowers, and dresses. As a young entrepreneur, she arranged for her parents to pretend to renew their wedding vows at least a dozen times, and planned each event with thoughtful care.

Melanie’s love for art and design developed over the years and led her to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she studied Art History. After spending five years in the bridal industry as a consultant, and more than seven years assisting with meeting and conference planning for the State of Colorado, she made the leap to starting her own company in 2013. 

She feels blessed to be able to do what she has loved for so long and can't wait to help you plan your special day!

Brooke Jelniker  | Lead Planner

Brooke is a tomboy at heart who loves playing sports, hanging out with her cats, drinking wine, and taking advantage of Colorado's great outdoors. She has a passion for helping other people accomplish their dreams, whether in fitness, in their dream wedding, or just in life. 

Brooke has been interested in wedding planning since she was in high school. She loves the organization aspect of throwing parties and makes quite a few mean party drinks. In college Brooke received her Event Planning Certificate and helped her athletic department with all fundraising and event activities as the Student Athlete President. 

Brooke attended the University of San Diego and was apart of the women’s basketball team for four years. She majored in Communications and Marketing and received a job with Gallo Wine Company in Orange County after graduation. Brooke moved back to her home state of Colorado a year and a half ago and reconnected with Melanie, a long-time family friend, at one of her best friend's weddings. She shared her passion for weddings with Melanie, and has been working with Melanie ever since!

Brooke is a natural planner and leader, and she loves making each wedding a uniquely special day!


Ashley Hinkle | Associate Planner

Ashley is a lively girl who loves adventure.  She spends her down time snuggling with her puppy, hosting dinner parties and exploring other countries with her husband.

 Ashley’s love for the wedding planning process began in 2005 when she started working at a local bridal boutique, and increased after the planning of her own wedding in 2014. She loves the natural beauty of Colorado and the perfect backdrop it provides for any event.

Ashley graduated from Evangel University with a degree in Journalism. Her focus in communications allowed her to contribute to several large campus events, getting her feet wet in event planning. She has more than five years of experience in hotel conference and event planning working as a Sales and Events Coordinator.

Ashley began working for Kimberly Rose Events in 2015, but has known Melanie for over nine years, and she is excited to be part of your big day!

April Bonnette | Associate Planner

April is a friendly, "southern belle" who loves wine, puppies, and traveling. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2012 where she studied fine art photography and developed her innate creative eye and organization skills. After school, she took a short vacation to Charleston, SC, where she immediately feel in love with the history, food and southern hospitality, and moved there two months later. She knew she wanted to get into wedding planning, so she completed an event planner certification with the QC Event School. She then got her feet wet in the industry doing day-of coordination for Tara Guerard's Soiree in Charleston and quickly realized this was her true passion.

In 2016, she and her pup Daisy made the move back to Colorado to be with her now fiance, who proposed on a family vacation in Hawaii! Excited to exercise her skills in planning her own wedding, she reached out to Melanie to get back into the industry officially.

With an eye for perfection and a passion for weddings, April is thrilled to help make your wedding day the best day ever!


Erica Clarkson | Associate Planner

Erica is a ball of positive vibes who loves fitness, champagne  & exploring the beauty Colorado has to offer. Her passion is to inspire and be inspired. She thrives in chaos and loves any challenge she’s faced with.

Erica graduated from the University of Kansas in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Minor in Psychology. After college she settled in Colorado to explore all of its beauty and begin her dream job as an event planner & bridal fitness coach. Erica radiates joy and connects on a personal level with anyone she works with. Her knack for problem solving & love for this industry is what makes her a natural event planner!

Danielle Vecchiarelli | Assistant Planner

Danielle is a passionate, outgoing gal who brings unique energy and creativity to any type of event. She has an exceptional ability to make your vision a reality. She has a can-do attitude ensuring your planning process is a positive and successful experience.

Danielle earned her degrees in Business Management and Mathematics from Colorado State University. In 2010, Danielle started working as a Project Manager for a luxury residential construction company in Aspen, CO. As her experience in project management continued to advance, she took on coordination roles for several local charity and rotary events, including events hosted by Ducks Unlimited. In 2012, Danielle moved to Denver to take on a Project Engineer position at a private oil and gas company.

Danielle’s passion for event planning grew exponentially when she began planning her own wedding in 2016. With the support of the Kimberly Rose Events (KRE) team, her wedding was magnificent. She decided to join KRE shortly after and has been committed ever since to making each event nothing but perfection.
